Tax Administrator – Co-op Legal Services
£24,600 plus excellent benefits (Work level 6C)
Full time 37.5 hours per week. Fixed shift patterns Monday-Friday (flexible between 8am-5:30pm), no weekend or evening work.
Sheffield – office-based with free onsite parking

We’re looking for administrators to join our probate tax team at Co-op Legal Services.

In this role, you’ll support case handlers with a variety of administrative tasks. You don’t need any legal experience for this role, so if you have the skills we’re looking for, we can offer you the opportunity to grow and develop in an ethical legal business.

What you’ll do

•    Carry out high volumes of administrative data entry work including populating forms for 3rd parties 
•    Make outbound calls to 3rd parties and clients to obtain information, and following up when required 
•    Support Tax Managers by carrying out a range of administrative work including printing, handling confidential paperwork, and drafting letters to 3rd parties
•    Work with a case management system and Microsoft Excel 
•    Work effectively from a task list, making sure that the task list is well maintained  
•    Complete a variety of ad-hoc requests to meet the needs of the team
•    Gain exposure to various tasks and processes that are managed by the tax team

This role would suit people who have

•    Customer service experience
•    The confidence to make calls on a daily basis
•    The ability to show proactivity and persistence to achieve the desired outcome 
•    Great organisational skills and attention to detail
•    The ability to communicate professionally and sensitively with external parties, customers, colleagues, and partners 
•    The ability to prioritise your work and adapt to multiple requests
