We’re looking for a Financial Control Accountant to join our Federal Retail and Trading Services (FRTS) finance team. In this role, we’ll look to you to manage the financial controls for our supplier income by reviewing contract information loaded into our SAP system and making those contracts are accurately match the supplier agreements.

Why this role matters

You’ll work closely with our finance manager to manage supplier income and influence the commercial buying team and other internal stakeholders to maintain and improve process with respect to supplier income. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills working with well-known brands and gaining valuable exposure to SAP. SAP knowledge isn’t required as we’ll provide full training on this.

What you’ll do

•    Help us review processes and design supplier income revenue streams managed in SAP
•    Review supplier contracts, challenging and influencing the commercial teams to make sure they meet quality controls that you’ll help design
•    Work closely with both internal and external audit
•    Build positive relationships with colleagues in the business to highlight and resolve any issues with supplier contracts or buying approval documentation
•    Support with specific projects with relation to SAP implementation
