In line with our Internal Mobility Policy, we’d like to make you aware that a preferred candidate has been identified for this opportunity. Co-op does not offer visa sponsorship for this role.

We’re open to applications from people who may require flexible working arrangements. There’ll be an opportunity to discuss your flexible working requirements during the interview process, and at offer stage.

We're looking for a Data Culture Analyst to join our Data Enablement team, part of our wider Digital Technology & Data function. In this role, you’ll help colleagues across Co-op to make the most out of the data products available to them. You’ll support our Data Culture Manager to deliver engaging communications and training to colleagues, and work alongside our Microsoft Power Platform team to help automate our processes wherever possible. If you can bring us the skills and knowledge we’re looking for, this is a great opportunity to make a real difference to the way we do business and play a big part in helping our colleagues put data at the heart of their decision-making.

What you’ll do

• Support the creation and delivery of training plans that drive the adoption of our data products
• Engage with colleagues at all levels of seniority and deliver show and tells, super-user groups, champion communities etc
• Plan and create clear, accessible, and engaging communications that promote the value and capabilities of our data products

• Create and maintain our solutions built through Microsoft Power Platform
• Work alongside our Data Culture Manager to plan and deliver change projects across the team

This role would suit people who have

• An understanding of various data products and how they apply to end-users (at Co-op)
• Knowledge of, and experience using, Microsoft Power Platform
• An understanding of data literacy
• Good communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content that is accessible for technical and non-technical audiences
• Good relationship-building and collaboration skills
• The ability to deliver training and communication plans to a wide range of audiences

We know that some candidates are less likely to apply for a role if they don’t meet all the criteria in the job description. At Co-op, we're committed to building a diverse and inclusive working environment, so if you'd like to apply for this role but your experience doesn't quite meet every point, we'd still encourage you to apply. You may be just the right candidate for the job or other roles we have available.

Why Co-op?

At Co-op, we’re owned by our members. And because we’re owned by you, we can do right by you. So when you join us, you’re not just taking a job, you’re joining a movement. We’re an organisation that puts people and communities first, and we’re powered by purpose. We want this to be a place where you can thrive, so you’ll also receive:

• An annual bonus (based on personal and business performance)
• 28 days holiday (rising to 32 with service) plus bank holidays
• A pension with up to 10% employer contributions
• Access to a subsidised onsite gym (at our Manchester HQ)
• Coaching and training to support your career development
• Wagestream app – giving you access to a percentage of your pay as you earn

Building a diverse environment

We’re actively building diverse teams and we welcome applications from everyone. If you have a disability, we can make reasonable adjustments to our recruitment process according to your needs. We're also part of the Disability Confident scheme, meaning we'll always offer an interview to disabled candidates who apply through the scheme if they meet the minimum criteria for a job.

We'll ask whether you’d like to be considered under the Disability Confident scheme when you apply.

If we invite you to take part in the recruitment process for any of our jobs, we’ll ask you if you need any reasonable adjustments to enable you to participate.

You can find out more about our recruitment process at jobs.coop.co.uk/apply-process

You can find out more about the Disability Confident scheme at Disability Confident Scheme - Co-op Colleagues and more about our commitments to diversity and inclusion at Diversity and Inclusion
