PurposeWe're looking for Format Planning and Deployment Leads to join the optimisation team to help us to deliver our programme proposition deployment plan into our Food stores and across the wider business.

In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering our customer and strategic priorities, so that we deliver the best cost-effective approach for our business. You'll help us maximise the sales, operations, and profit opportunities of the deployment change whilst meeting the constantly evolving needs of the communities that we serve. It's a big job and you’ll need great organisational skills to make sure that projects run smoothly, as well as great communication skills so that you can build positive relationships with partners and colleagues as you go. What you’ll do

• Understand the end-to-end process of activity and produce project documentation including reports, control logs and milestone trackers
• Continuously review delivery activity, proactively managing potential risks and issues
• Track projects and key milestones as they progress, capturing key findings, holding stakeholders to their delivery dates and proactively providing insights that’ll drive continuous improvement. 
• Develop innovative ways of working with supporting teams and external partners to achieve successful delivery of activity into stores
• Attend store scoping visits for larger change activities to help give direction and to maintain full knowledge of the change at store level
• Manage the deployment budget, raising PO orders when necessary and flagging any potential risks 
• Act as the initial point of contact for the stores who are affected by change, raising any impacts and providing timely resolution
• Visit stores and build relationships with store colleagues

Knowledge, Skills & Experience • The ability to apply deployment matter experience, to support delivery of business change
• Experience of planning and organising and the ability to self-manage and prioritise 
• The ability to build strong relationships both in function and wider business, as well as with our external partners and suppliers 
• The confidence to communicate technical subject matter to a non-technical audience to build colleague engagement
• Good understanding of financial control to support delivery of change
• Proven knowledge of risk and issue management and experience of status reporting to wider partners 
• A UK driving license
