12-month secondment

We’re looking for a motivated Business Transformation Lead to join us and help shape our future capabilities in how we plan and deliver our ranges and space across Co op. This is a role with real freedom. You’ll set your own agenda, bring new ideas to the table, and help us transition to  smarter, more intuitive tools and processes that work for our teams. You’ll act as the bridge between technology and change teams and our SRM (space, range and merchandising) functions, making sure solutions are practical, well designed and ready to help us deliver against our business goals. You’ll also play a key part in crafting a change plan that supports colleagues to feel confident, informed and ready for what’s ahead.

Why this role matters

Everything we do in Range and Space makes a difference to what customers and member owners see when they walk into our stores. Your work will help us make sure  our new tools and applications are able to take us to the next level of landing right products, in the right places at the right time, in a way that’s simple for colleagues and commercially sound for the business. You’ll be helping to shape decisions, build capability and create a smoother, smarter way of working right across our Food operation.

What you’ll do

• Feel comfortable working through ambiguity, helping others stay engaged, positive and focused when things are changing
• Help drive change even when it’s challenging, setting the tone, building trust and supporting colleagues so they feel like they’re part of the journey
• Bring together different scenarios, data and dependencies to spot risks early and keep teams focused on solutions
• Work with pace and flexibility, especially during busy periods or tight deadlines, making sure your time and energy go where they’re needed most
• Act as a forward thinking voice in the team, helping us future proof our range, space and merchandising capability
• Lead, support and develop a Range and Space Transformation Analyst, helping them grow and succeed in their role.

This role would suit people who have

• Good understanding of category management tools, systems and retail processes
• Experience of working with Blue Yonder
• Practical change management experience, along with an understanding of how change impacts people
• The confidence to build plans that support teams through transition in a clear, structured way
• Great communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across different teams and keep everyone informed
• The ability to take complex information and turn it into something clear, useful and easy for others to act on.

• Private healthcare for you and your family
