We’re looking for a Senior Advisor to join the Billing and Admin team within our wider Co-op Business Services (CBS) organisation. CBS is made up of a number of diverse teams dedicated to delivering high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective business services across our Co-op. You’ll play a key role in helping CBS to support and realise our group vision of ‘co-operating to build more value for member-owners every day’.
As a Senior Advisor, you’ll support our Billing and Admin Manager with invoicing dispute management, invoice processing, and other administrative tasks within agreed timescales. What you’ll do
- Make sure invoice/credit note requests are received and processed within agreed timescales
- Process and manage supplier disputes and recommend solutions
- Allocate daily workload to a team of Advisors
- Support and guide the team following the rollout of SAP
- Own the production and review of process documentation and make sure that new/existing team members get the training and support they need to thrive
- Assist with any other responsibilities across the team as needed
What you’ll bring
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn new things, systems, and processes
- Good communication and relationship-building skills
- The confidence to challenge processes and share improvement ideas
- A basic understanding of accounting (i.e. you understand the difference between debit and credit)
- The ability to support colleagues and distribute work across team members effectively
