We’re looking for a Regional Operations Manager to join Co-op Funeralcare and Life Planning in Kent and East London. In this role, you’ll lead and support teams across your region, helping us deliver excellent service for our clients every day. If you can bring the people focus we need, we can offer you the chance to develop your skills, including access to great leadership programmes, with a business which puts people at the heart of its strategy.
Why this role matters
In this role, you’ll take responsibility for the performance of your region and the funeral homes within it, working closely with other leaders across the UK. Your focus will be on building a strong reputation, growing market share, and making sure every client receives outstanding service throughout the region. It’s a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
What you’ll do
• Lead and support change across a large, multi-skilled operation, as well as driving improvements in your region
• Oversee day-to-day operations and encourage community involvement at every level
• Motivate, coach, and develop your teams so they can do their best work
• Deliver the business plan and manage budgets, always keeping the client at the heart of decisions
• Be a positive advocate for change, helping to deliver transformation projects

• Experience managing a multi-site and complex operation
• Excellent leadership skills, with a track record of inspiring and leading teams
• Strong commercial awareness and a strategic mindset
