We’re looking for a Digital Operations Assistant to help us deliver our exciting new food digital strategy at Co-op. In this role, you’ll support the Digital Operations Manager in modernising and shaping the future for how customers shop via our courier partnerships and the Peckish app. We’ve come a long way from where we were, but there’s more work to be done. We’re focusing on technology and how we can improve and automate operations to provide a better delivery experience for our customers.
What you’ll do
• Work with colleagues across the business to promote a more digital-focused and forward-thinking culture, gaining buy-in and explaining the benefits of our digital propositions.
• Collaborate with our 3rd parties to understand performance, ensure KPIs are met and maintain strong working relationships.
• Act as a direct point of contact for the courier partners for all things last mile related.
• Act as a direct point of contact for the Peckish team, supporting on all last mile queries and also setting up new stores to ensure a seamless launch process.
• Analyse internal data to spot trends, identifying areas for improvement or opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with all members of the team and wider business, escalating any issues outside your role to the appropriate department.

• A passion for Last Mile and QCommerce
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with a high level of attention to detail
• The ability to build relationships with a variety of external and internal partners
• The ability to present data in a meaningful and actionable way
• Good general IT skills, Microsoft Excel skills are essential: Including VLOOKUPs, pivot & formulas to present data in an engaging format
• Strong organisational and time management skills
