We’re looking for a motivated Digital Operations Manager to join us and help shape the future of how our customers shop at Co-op. You’ll focus on online operations and partnerships, driving innovation and making sure our digital experience is simple, convenient, and customer focused. We’ve made great progress, but there’s more to do: and this is where you come in.
Why this role matters

You’ll use technology and insight to improve processes, trial new ideas, and bring fresh thinking to the way we operate online. By connecting with colleagues and partners, you’ll help us deliver solutions that make a real difference to our customers and keep Co-op moving forward in a fast-changing market.
What you’ll do
• Set up and run trials to understand what’s working and where we can improve
• Develop process flows and create proposals for future activity
• Visit stores to see how changes work in practice
• Work closely with colleagues across Co-op and third-party suppliers to manage trials from start to finish
• Explore new tech and trends with suppliers and find ways to integrate them into our business
This role will suit people who have
• Online grocery experience and a passion for ecommerce
• Strong project management skills and the ability to report on progress clearly
• Great relationship-building skills with internal and external partners
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to influence decisions
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas) to present data clearly
Why Co-op?

We’re an organisation that puts people and communities first, and we’re powered by purpose. We want this to be a place where you can thrive, so you’ll also receive:
• An annual bonus (based on personal and business performance)
• 28 days holiday (rising to 32 with service) plus bank holidays
• A pension with up to 10% employer contributions
• Access to a subsidised onsite gym (at our Manchester HQ)
• Coaching and training to support your career development
• Wagestream app – giving you access to a percentage of your pay as you earn
