Two permanent roles available: One Full Time 37.5 hours, one Part Time 22.5 hours

We’re looking for Finance Administrators to join our Record to Report team within our wider Co-op Business Services (CBS) organisation. CBS is made up of a number of diverse teams dedicated to delivering high-quality, reliable and cost-effective business services across our Co-op. You’ll play a key role in helping CBS to support and realise our group vision of ‘co-operating to build more value for member-owners every day’.
Why this role matters
As a Finance Administrator, we’ll look to you to complete financial case transactions for our Funeralcare business area, making sure that agreed service levels are met within this highly regulated environment. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a breadth of knowledge within finance operations and collaborate with our wider Co-op teams.
What you’ll do
• Process various payments including daily BACS and co-ordinate transfers between accounts
• Produce balance sheet reconciliations and take ownership of daily redemptions
• Drive data-driven insights by collecting and analysing statistical information that helps guide strategic decision-making across the organisation
• Make sure all transactions are processed accurately in line with the FCA’s account rules
• Answer queries from colleagues via a shared inbox
What you’ll bring
• Previous experience in a finance role, with the ability to develop solutions to financial problems
• A high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your work
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills
• Good relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate as part of a team
• A proactive approach and the ability to adapt to change
