Finance Business Partner – Retail Ops

We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to join us in Manchester to partner with our Food Retail Field Operations colleagues, primarily Divisional Operations Directors and Regional Operations Managers. In this role, you’ll work in a hybrid way – spending at least one day per week working from the office.

Working closely alongside our Finance and Operations teams, you’ll provide useful insights around food store financial performance, and use these to help identify continuous improvement opportunities. We’ll also look to you to attend quarterly commercial reviews alongside our Retail Director, providing updates on the status of financial and non-financial objectives.

What you’ll do

• Work alongside our Operations Field teams, suggesting areas of focus to improve performance at a store, area and regional level
• Collect insights around store convergence/performance, supported by our other Business Partners and Business Analysts
• Support operations projects, helping to make sure they’re delivered successfully
• Work closely with our Property and Operations teams to make data-led, store investment decisions

This role would suit people who have

• An ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualification, or equivalent
• Experience working in a Business Partner role
• Good communication skills, with the ability to present often complex and intricate information to a non-financial audience
• Good relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge people inclusively
