Lead Finance Manager 

£55,000 to £65,0000 plus excellent benefits including private healthcare (Work level 5)

We’re looking for a Lead Finance Manager to join our team within Co-op Finance. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in helping us manage our resources effectively, support better decision-making, and contribute to our long-term success.

What you’ll do

  • Support the coordination of budgets and forecasts 
  • Help manage the rolling forecast cycle and provide insight into performance
  • Contribute to monthly performance reviews and track key initiatives
  • Develop clear, insightful reporting to help teams understand and manage spend
  • Support alignment of financial plans with strategic goals
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and support for senior stakeholders to challenge their thinking
  • Identify opportunities to improve and simplify finance processes
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Finance and the wider business

What we’re looking for

  • A recognised financial qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent), or working towards one
  • Experience in financial planning, reporting, or business partnering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence in working with stakeholders and communicating financial insights
  • A collaborative approach and a willingness to learn and grow
  • Good Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems or planning tools
