6-month secondment
We’re looking for a Markdowns Analyst to join our Supply Chain Markdowns team. In this role, you’ll make sure we manage the exit of lines from our business in the most profitable way. You’ll be working collaboratively across our supply chain, commercial and operations teams, providing them with meaningful data and insights to drive decision making, track performance, mitigate risks.
A key part of your role will be to manage the set-up events and performance of the markdowns in SAP. We’ll also look to you to play a key part in identifying and delivering continuous improvement projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your skills within supply chain and gain great exposure across the business.
What you’ll do
• Constructively influence and challenge decision making, representing the team in cross functional working groups
• Provide reporting and insights into proposed product delists to support buyers in making informed decisions and the demand planners with ordering and managing stock
• Monitor the cost impacts and support in proposing clearance options
• Set up and monitor the performance of range events and other markdown events in SAP, and reviewing ways of how we can continuously improve these to reduce costs
• Work closely with IT to support on markdown IT development and UAT testing
• Make sure all processes are accurately documented and kept up to date
This role would suit people who have
• Good commercial acumen with an understanding of Co-op product lifecycles
• Great systems knowledge such as SAP (ECC/F&R), MicroStrategy & JDA with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
• The ability to analyse large volumes of data and present the findings in a meaningful and compelling way up to senior leader level
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior colleagues to drive effective decision making
