12-month secondment
We’re looking for an Implementation Manager to join the Operations Support Centre to work on Hybrid tills. In this exciting project role, you’ll be responsible in creating, sustaining & supporting the change plan for our trial stores and through to business wide rollout.
You’ll collaborate with teams across Co-op, including learning & development, Capacity planning, technology, format, operations and various external suppliers to make sure all requirements for the new product are met. Communication to our store colleagues and field managers is key, as you’ll represent and prepare them to make sure the behavioural changes and new service processes land well. Ultimately, you’ll make sure the project is delivered to provide a great user experience for our colleagues and our customers.
What you’ll do
- Work closely with the operations product manager to support the development of the new SmartPOS software and the change plan for our food stores
- Contribute to the planning and execution of the project roadmap
- Create a communication plan to make sure all operational colleagues are aware, ready, and engaged for the behavioural and system changes
- Represent our store colleagues and field managers, delivering a great end-user experience
- Research and respond to end user feedback about products that are used, and share findings with the project team
- Make sure you are compliant to business policies including the identification and management of risks
- Collaborate with internal teams, including the IT service desk, to monitor call volumes and share knowledge to support colleagues

- The ability to understand and pick up new systems and technology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across the business
- The ability to bring to life an operational change plan
