We’re looking for a Pensions Assistant to help us deliver even more value to members of our pension schemes. You’ll play a key role in making sure member benefits are calculated and paid accurately, on time, and in line with our scheme rules and legislation. You’ll be part of a dedicated team committed to providing a great experience for our pension scheme members. Training will take place at our Manchester head office, after which you’ll work in a hybrid way – splitting your time between the office and home.

This role is key to supporting the financial wellbeing of thousands of Co-op colleagues and pension scheme members. By guaranteeing accurate and timely pension administration, you’ll help people plan for their futures with confidence. You’ll help maintain the integrity and trust of one of the UK’s largest pension schemes.
What you’ll do
• Calculate and process member benefits in line with scheme rules and legislation
• Provide excellent customer service to pension scheme members
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date pension records
• Share ideas to improve processes and team performance
What you’ll bring
• Experience in Defined Benefit pensions administration
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Outlook
• A proactive mindset and passion for delivering great service
