Remote working (2 roles available, one North based and one South based).
We’re looking for a Project Delivery Manager to join our Property team. We’ll look to you to manage and co-ordinate all activities relating delivery of investment projects and closures of stores. You’ll make sure all pre-opening and closure activities are delivered on time and on budget. You’ll collaborate with both the property and operations team, providing advice and service delivery that is of the highest quality. This is a great opportunity if you have excellent relationship building, communication and influencing skills to be able to run projects in our stores for the benefit of colleagues and customers.
What you’ll do
• Act as the main point of contact for individual projects for the construction team
• Take responsibility for projects, including launches and closures of stores along with improvement plans in-store
• Provide updates to property, construction, and operations team partners
• Be responsible to deliver and oversee all operational and construction elements of store closures following safety standards and agreed ways of working
• Deliver solutions for identified problems and escalate where necessary
• Use your knowledge and skills to make sure we are continuously improving the way projects are delivered
• Provide feedback and support the maintenance of existing project delivery approaches
This role would suit people who have
• Retail or store management experience, with an understanding of store operations
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels across the business
• Experience in building relationships and influencing colleagues and partners
• Good commercial awareness, with experience of showing commercial benefits
• Planning skills and the ability to multitask multiple projects
