Role Summary
Will lead on the identification, planning and delivery of Continuous Improvement opportunities in partnership with accountable operational owners to improvement outcomes across Business Services, ensuring we are providing the necessary and most cost-effective services possible.

- Accountable lead for successful and timely delivery of identified CBS Continuous Improvement opportunities, driving a culture of continuous improvement across CBS by collaborating with leaders and business stakeholders to plan, manage, and deliver CI Initiatives
- Ensure delivery to the agreed timescales, cost and quality standards, and ensure change is sustainably delivered.
- Provide the structure for effective decision-making and change control processes in place.
- Ensure risks, issues, dependencies, benefits & cost tracking in place and provided to stakeholders along with timely and accurate reports on progress. Understand any interdependencies & work through any contentions.
- Develop knowledge of business processes / units and ability to understand issues from multiple functional perspectives
Actively manage key stakeholders’ relationships to ensure communication is effective, constructive and honest - Manage any complex queries and be recognised as an expert in your field both within CBS and across wider stakeholders
- Ensure relevant SLA & KPI’s are managed, recorded & reported accurately and contribute to sharing of the best ways of working across the wider team in order to drive consistency of standards and service delivery
- Role model inclusive behaviour, promoting a culture of collaboration and coaching which encourages learning and respect of individuals.
- Manage own workload appropriately in order to meet project deadlines /milestones
- Proactively engage with business stakeholders to gain their support and provide ongoing communication of project status updates
- Make decisions on the best way to enable delivery of change / project escalating when necessary.
- Prioritise resources where there is a competing business need
- Challenge decisions / course of actions of others where appropriate
- Guide the SME’s so as to ensure a full understanding of the change needs impacts across the change activity.
- Continuously review the processes used within the CI team to actively improve ways of working
- Champion the value and benefits of CI culture and priorities of the work being undertaken.
- Create own personal development plan and identify relevant development interventions.

- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Ability to define and establish the cross-functional team required to support the delivery
- Identify and manage risks, issues & dependencies
