PurposeSupports the delivery of continuous improvement and transformation across Co-op by providing high-quality data insight, process analysis, and improvement recommendations. Works collaboratively within value streams and business units to identify opportunities that enhance efficiency, colleague experience, and member value. Applies Lean methodologies and analytical expertise to turn complex data into clear, actionable insight that drives sustainable business improvement.

Contribution

Insight & Analysis

  • Analyse operational performance data and business processes to identify root causes, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Use data from systems such as Manhattan, Paragon, and Kronos to create clear, actionable insights that inform decision-making and drive cost and performance improvement.
  • Develop reports and visual representations of data that enable stakeholders to understand performance drivers and make informed operational decisions.
  • Work closely with peers in MI, logistics, and central teams to ensure data integrity, alignment, and consistency across systems.

Continuous Improvement & Delivery

  • Partner with Business Improvement Specialists to design and deliver improvement initiatives that reduce waste, enhance productivity, and improve quality.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques (e.g., process mapping, DMAIC, Pareto analysis, benchmarking) to diagnose challenges and shape improvement activity.
  • Support implementation of improvement initiatives through structured analysis, change tracking, and performance measurement.
  • Translate data and insight into practical recommendations that support delivery of measurable benefits and operational KPIs.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build trusted relationships with operational, support centre, and transformation colleagues to ensure recommendations are understood and embedded.
  • Provide constructive challenge to ensure that improvement opportunities deliver sustainable value.
  • Work collaboratively across business units and value streams, sharing best practice and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Support clear communication and engagement around improvement activity, helping colleagues understand the purpose and benefits of change.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of data analysis and business improvement methodologies.
  • Actively engage with the Process Excellence and Business Improvement community to share learnings and advance collective capability.
