Up to £50,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A)
Monday to Friday with some weekends, 8am to 4pm (flexibility required)
Newhouse (ML1 5GH) - on site

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Stock Manager to lead our inventory operations and customer service team. This is a key role in ensuring our stock is well-managed, our systems are accurate, and our customers receive exceptional service every time

Why this role matters

In this role you’ll be part of our depot leadership team and be directly responsible for making sure our orders are processed and sent to stores on time. We’ll look to you to help resolve queries quickly to improve stock integrity and the flow of stock in and out of the depot. As a business we’re always looking to improve, so you’ll get involved right from the start and contribute to significant process changes across our depot.

What you’ll do

•    Lead the team to make sure that stock is managed in an efficient and service focused way, so that we can deliver a great service to our stores
•    Work collaboratively with all functions within the depot to maximise productivity and reduce costs
•    Manage the delivery of work in line with relevant procedures and performance metrics, to support our Co-op in delivering its customer offer
•    Drive a customer focused culture across the Depot and look at ways to improve service and relationships with our stores.
•    Use your expertise to diagnose and resolve problems within agreed parameters, escalating these where appropriate.
•    Make sure everyone is compliant with the appropriate standards, policies and regulations, and that risks are managed and identified within agreed frameworks 
•    Engage and motivate your team, creating an environment where everyone feels valued and understands how to contribute to the success of the operation.

What you’ll bring

•    A background in Logistics, Supply Chain or Warehouse environments
•    Experience working in an inventory, stock or warehouse role
•    Strong leadership and team management skills.
•    Experience using various IT systems such as Manhattan, AS400 or SAP
•    The ability to analyse data to inform business and process change
•    Good relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge people inclusively
•    The ability to build and develop strong relationships with stakeholders and both internal /external customers.
