Purpose

Define and deliver customer facing propositions for Co-op Wholesale partners in a channel segmented way. This role is accountable for crafting commercial propositions, leading price and format strategies, generating market insights and diving promotional and operational excellence.

Contribution
  • Develop targeted commercial propositions that reflect deep customer and channel insight, ensuring relevance, competitiveness, and alignment with Co-op’s purpose and values.
  • Ensure strategic alignment of pricing and ranging plans, tailoring them to wholesale partner needs and market dynamics to maximise customer success and commercial performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including trading, supply chain, marketing, finance, and digital—to deliver commercially robust and operationally deliverable solutions.
  • Use data and market intelligence to inform proposition decisions, optimise pack formats, and drive promotional innovation that enhances customer experience and profitability.
  • Lead the creation and execution of customer trade plans, ensuring promotional activity is aligned with strategic goals and delivered with excellence.
  • Contribute to a culture of accountability and agility, working closely with colleagues in the proposition community to share insights, solve problems, and continuously improve.
