Lead Finance Manager
£55,000 to £65,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 5)
Location: Manchester/Scunthorpe (hybrid working – typically two to three days per week spent across our Manchester and Scunthorpe offices, with at least one day each week based in Scunthorpe)

Co-op Wholesale is growing, and we’re looking for people who want to shape what comes next. As a Lead Finance Manager, you’ll provide clear financial insight to help support teams across the business. We’ll look to you to play a key role in helping us manage our resources effectively, supporting better decision-making, and contribute to our long-term success.

What you’ll do

  • Support the coordination of budgets and forecasts 
  • Help manage the rolling forecast cycle and provide insight into performance
  • Contribute to monthly performance reviews and track key initiatives
  • Develop clear, insightful reporting to help teams understand and manage spend
  • Support alignment of financial plans with strategic goals
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and support for senior stakeholders to challenge their thinking
  • Identify opportunities to improve and simplify finance processes
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the team and the wider business

What you’ll bring

  • A recognised financial qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent), or working towards one
  • Experience in financial planning, reporting, or business partnering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence in working with stakeholders and communicating financial insights
  • A collaborative approach and a willingness to learn and grow
  • Good Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems or planning tools
