Due to continued growth of the department, we’re looking for a team leader to join our estate planning team at Co-op Legal Services.

In this role, you’ll manage a team of people, using MI to monitor performance and manage delivery to make sure internal SLAs are being met and that we’re providing the best service for our clients. We’ll look to you to role model an inclusive leadership style, supporting individual colleagues’ development, and having challenging conversations where required. What you’ll do
• Lead and manage a team of 8-10 direct reports, conducting regular 121’s, meetings, and performance conversations, and supporting individual development
• Interpret and prepare MI to support effective decision making and identify improvements to the service
• Review capacity management and allocate workload to ensure effective day to day delivery
• Handle and resolve client complaints
• Maintain accurate HR records
• Manage business partner relationships
• Play a key role in project work
• Work collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues across the business, including the senior team leaders
What you’ll bring
• Previous experience of leading a team within the legal industry
• The ability to drive innovation in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to manage difficult conversations
• Strong relationship building skills at all levels
• Experience of developing and maintaining business partner relationships
