We’re looking for a Billing and Admin Analyst to join the Finance Services team within our wider Co-op Business Services (CBS) organisation. CBS is made up of a number of diverse teams dedicated to delivering high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective business services across our Co-op. You’ll play a key role in helping CBS to support and realise our group vision of ‘co-operating to build more value for member owners every day’.
In this role, you’ll provide billing and financial administration across our sales-to-cash activities. We’ll look to you to use your accounts receivable and billing expertise to support the wider team with complex cases, analyse billing trends, and improving the controls and processes we’ve currently got in place.
Why this role matters
It’s important that our Co-op can manage our billing activities effectively. Your involvement in managing our invoices and processing orders and payments will help to ensure this.
What you’ll do
- Identify and escalate billing issues
- Apply the appropriate invoicing and payment-related processes to optimise our billing activity
- Effectively spot and resolve any late payments, misapplied payments, or invoice duplications
- Make sure our ways of working are maintained across the wider team, and spot opportunities to improve processes where possible
- Manage complex queries with internal and external partners
What you’ll bring

- Experience working in an accounts receivable or billing role
- Experience using SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ERP)
- Confidence handling large volumes of transactions
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPS)
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and relationship-building skills
