We’re looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager to join our Life Services Marketing team. In this hands-on role, you'll help bring our Life Services brands to life across Funeralcare, Insurance and Legal Services. Working across paid, owned and earned channels, you'll support the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns from initial briefing and creative development through to launch and optimisation. You'll collaborate with agencies and internal teams to create engaging content and campaigns that build brand trust, support commercial goals and deliver great customer experiences.

Why this role matters

In Life Services, the way we communicate matters. Whether we're supporting someone through a difficult time, helping them protect what's important or providing legal support, our marketing needs to be clear, trusted and customer-focused. In this role, you'll help bring our brands to life through engaging content and campaigns across multiple channels, working with colleagues and agency partners to turn ideas into impactful customer experiences that deliver for both our customers and the business.

What you’ll do

•    Support the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across Funeralcare, Insurance and Legal Services, from briefing through to launch and optimisation
•    Develop content and creative assets across paid, owned and earned channels, ensuring all activity reflects our brand positioning, tone of voice and visual identity
•    Work closely with agencies and internal teams to create and deliver high-quality campaign and content assets
•    Coordinate campaign plans, production schedules and approvals, making sure activity is delivered on time and in line with governance requirements
•    Review and quality-check marketing content and creative outputs, ensuring they're accurate, compliant and aligned with customer needs
•    Support the delivery and optimisation of content across digital channels, including websites, email, CRM and social media
•    Use data, insights and testing to improve campaign performance, customer engagement and overall marketing effectiveness
•    Build strong relationships with colleagues and agency partners, sharing ideas and helping to continuously improve how we work

What you’ll bring

We’re committed to making our roles as accessible as possible, so we only ask for the minimum criteria. To thrive here, you’ll need to bring:

•    Experience delivering marketing campaigns across paid, owned and digital channels, with exposure to content, creative or brand-led activity
•    A collaborative mindset and confidence working with different teams and partners (including third-party agencies)
•    Strong attention to detail and a careful, organised approach to your work
•    Experience using data and systems to track activity and measure performance
•    Comfort working with deadlines and managing multiple tasks at once
•    Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
•    A practical, reliable approach; you’re someone others can depend on
