We’re looking for Delivery Managers to support one of the biggest operational changes to land in our stores in years, the Deposit Return Scheme (DRS). You can find out more about the DRS here, and checkout our SharePoint page here.
Why this role matters
This is a brilliant opportunity to be at the heart of a national, regulated transformation, helping our stores get ready for change and making sure colleagues feel confident, supported and ready for go live.
You’ll play a key role in delivering DRS across our store estate, working closely with teams across Co-op and with external partners to make sure everything lands smoothly on the ground.
DRS is a once-in-a-generation change for retail. This is your chance to be part of something big, visible, and meaningful, helping shape how it lands in our stores and making a real difference to colleagues and customers.
What you’ll do
Support the end-to-end delivery of DRS change in stores, making sure we’re ready for rollout
Lead colleague engagement, training and communication, making complex changes simple and accessible
Work closely with third-party suppliers and Property teams to support installations and store readiness
Conduct store visits, supporting delivery and gathering real-world insight
Capture feedback and drive continuous improvement, helping refine and embed the operating model
Partner with franchise stores and central teams to make sure activity is aligned and consistent
Help manage risks, issues and costs, keeping delivery on track and compliant
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced delivery environment and enjoys working closely with stores and partners. You’ll bring:
Experience of delivering change in a store or field-based environment
Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex messages
The ability to build strong relationships across multiple teams and partners
Confidence working with installations, equipment rollouts or physical assets
Great Organisational skills; you’re able to manage multiple priorities at pace
A proactive mindset: someone who spots issues early and helps solve them
