•    Lead the end-to-end investigation process, actively listening, questioning, and probing
•    Challenge and influence key partners and manage their expectations
•    Prepare comprehensive investigation case files, including recommendations, any mitigating circumstances and policy/legal implications, following best practice and using your own judgement
•    Draft detailed letters such as grievance outcomes for the case decision maker
•    Support the provision of insight and/or key learnings to the business from the cases you’ve been involved with to help target improvements in how ER issues are handled

What you’ll bring

•    Strong understanding / previous experience of ER processes and employment legislation
•    Experience handling complex grievances and investigations
•    Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
•    Strong stakeholder management skills
•    The ability to build positive working relationships with partners
•    Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, and the ability to balance multiple tasks at the same time

•    28 days holiday (rising to 32 with service) plus bank holidays
•    A pension with up to 10% employer contributions
•    Access to a subsidised onsite gym (at our Manchester HQ)
•    30% discount on Co-op products and 10% off other brands
•    Stream – early access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it
•    Virtual healthcare including GP appointments, mental health support, nutrition and fitness advice
