We’re looking for a Revenue Assurance Lead to join our Funeralcare team and help strengthen the financial integrity of our operation. You’ll be part of a small, dedicated team helping colleagues deliver the right outcomes for clients and the business.
Why this role matters
In this role, you’ll work closely with funeral homes to make sure financial processes are followed, discrepancies are resolved quickly, and best practice becomes the norm. You’ll help identify where things aren’t working as they should, spot trends, and take action to protect value across our systems and processes. Your tenacity, curiosity, and ability to get to the root of issues will make a real difference to colleagues and clients every day.
What you’ll do
• Support funeral homes with financial queries, including cash, card, cheque and BACs reconciliation issues
• Analyse financial data and trends to identify non-compliance, discrepancies, or areas of potential financial leakage
• Work with colleagues to resolve supplier-related queries and ensure correct processes are followed
• Liaise with bank reconciliation and operations teams to resolve unallocated payments and financial mismatches
• Support investigations into operational fraud or complex financial issues by providing accurate information and analysis
• Coach funeral homes and managers on best practice, process adherence and improvements
• Help embed consistent financial and administrative processes across the operation, identifying and recommending improvements
• Manage day-to-day operational tasks including raising POs on Coupa and supporting with other technical tasks when required
What you’ll bring
• Experience handling financial queries, reconciliations or operational finance processes
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, spot trends and problem‑solve effectively
• Confidence using Excel, including lookups, formulas and pivot tables
• A tenacious, determined approach – someone who doesn’t give up until the issue is fully resolved
• Excellent communication skills with confidence speaking to stakeholders at all levels
• Understanding of funeral operations (or willingness to learn quickly) and the ability to navigate sensitive situations
• Ability to manage competing priorities, stay organised and work independently when required
• A continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to strengthen processes and reduce errors
