£63,000 - £73,000 plus private healthcare, pension with up to 10% employer contributions and many more great benefits (Work Level 5)

We're looking for Lead Product Managers to join our Product team and help us create products and services that make a real difference for our customers, members and colleagues. In this role, you'll set the vision, strategy and direction for your product, working closely with colleagues across technology, design, delivery and the wider business to create solutions that meet customer needs and deliver value for Co-op. You'll lead product development from discovery through to delivery, making informed decisions that balance customer outcomes, commercial priorities and technical considerations.

This is a role where you'll combine big-picture thinking with hands-on product leadership, working with talented people from a range of disciplines to solve complex problems and deliver measurable outcomes. As part of our wider product community, you'll have opportunities to apply your skills across different products and business areas as priorities evolve, building broad experience and helping us deliver the greatest value for Co-op. This may include moving between product teams over time, giving you the chance to develop new expertise while supporting changing business needs.

What you’ll do

•    Define and communicate a clear vision, strategy and roadmap for your product
•    Work closely with stakeholders to balance customer needs, business priorities and technical considerations when making product decisions
•    Lead the product lifecycle from discovery through to delivery, ensuring your product delivers meaningful outcomes
•    Use customer insight, feedback and data to identify opportunities and prioritise product improvements
•    Manage and maintain a well-prioritised product backlog, helping teams focus on the highest-value work
•    Measure product performance and use evidence and insights to inform future decisions and investments
•    Build strong relationships across product, engineering, design and business teams to drive collaboration and alignment

What you’ll bring

•    Significant product management experience, including defining product strategies and leading complex products or initiatives
•    Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across a range of teams and seniority levels
•    Experience using customer insights, research and data to inform decisions and prioritise work
•    The ability to translate business goals into clear product outcomes, roadmaps and measurable objectives
•    Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to different audiences
•    An understanding of agile ways of working and experience working in cross-functional product teams
